ARCHETYPAL ELEMENTS (11/23/07)

Description: In complete sentences, post an archetypal characteristic
of your hero (plot, setting, character, symbolism, etc.) making sure
that the element you've chosen does not duplicate that of any of your
classmates (first in wins). Based on your notes on archetypes and your
independent research,explain how this characteristic or element is
typical of archetypal heroes and their stories. AVOID PLOT SUMMARY!
Then make one comment about an element posted by a classmate. Is he or she
correct? Add insights or details to his or her posting. For a complete grade,
students should have one original post and one comment each. Get ahold of your friends! Ask them to comment (intelligently) on your posting!
